Study Acronym / Nickname: cvMOBIUS 2
PI(s): Jon Arnold, University of Pittsburgh
Purpose: CV MOBIUS is a multi-country registry of patients with ASCVD aimed at understanding patterns of care in ASCVD while evaluating the real-world effectiveness of PCSK9 inhibitors. The primary objective of this registry is to evaluate the comparative effectiveness of PCSK9‑inhibitors use and to reduce cardiovascular events among adults with recent atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events and/or revascularization in routine practice. This study also seeks to understand the strengths and limitations of data harvested directly from electronic health record (EHR) systems as compared with prospectively collected information.
