Study for the Development of Outcome Measures for Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Study Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop validated patient- and clinician-reported outcome measures for hidradenitis suppurativa.

Study Goal(s): To improve the way hidradenitis suppurativa disease outcomes are measured.

Study Design: Mixed methods including focus groups, cross-sectional methods, and a prospective study will be used through the course of this study.

This is a 4-year study that hopes to enroll patients with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) as well as physicians who treat HS. Participation in all four years is not required, and there are multiple opportunities for patients to take part in the study.
